Terms of Service

Last updated: June 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of DocChaser. By signing in or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

DocChaser lets brokers request documents from borrowers, who upload them through a no-login link. Files are stored in your own Google Drive. DocChaser is a collection tool — it is not a system of record and is not legal, financial, or compliance advice.

Your account and responsibilities

  • You must be authorized to request the documents you collect, and you are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from your borrowers.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google sign-in secure.
  • You agree not to misuse the service, upload unlawful content, or use it to collect documents without a legitimate business purpose.

Your content

You and your borrowers retain all rights to the documents collected. You grant DocChaser permission to create folders and place uploaded files into your Google Drive on your behalf. Because files live in your Drive, you control their access, sharing, and deletion. Any optional notes you add to a loan — such as a phone number, city, or a private note — are for your own reference only; we never share them with your borrower or use them for any other purpose.

Fees, billing, and refunds

DocChaser is free during our pilot period. Paid plans are $79/month or $790/year (two months free) for unlimited loans and documents. We'll give notice before billing begins. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access through the period you've already paid for.

Payments are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, who handles checkout, receipts, and any applicable sales tax or VAT. For how cancellations and refunds work, see our Refund Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocChaser is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, deals, or profits arising from your use of the service. You remain responsible for backing up and safeguarding documents in your Drive.

Termination

You may stop using DocChaser and revoke its Google access at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and DocChaser data from Settings → Danger Zone. Deleting your account never removes the documents already saved in your Google Drive — those remain yours. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above, and continued use means you accept them. Questions? Email support@docchaser.xyz.
